Account and User Data Deletion

This page provides the official policy and step-by-step instructions for account and personal data deletion on Komikcast, applicable to both the Android Application (APK) and the Official Website (https://komikcast.blog).

Komikcast is fully compliant with Google Play Store User Data and Account Deletion policies. Users have the right to delete their account and all associated personal data at any time through self-service options in the app and website or by contacting our support team.

1. How to Delete Your Account (Self-Service)

The deletion process is entirely self-service and can be completed directly from your device. The steps are identical on the Android App and the Website:

1. Log in to Your Komikcast Account: Sign in using Google Sign-In or your registered email and password.
2. Open Profile Menu: Tap/click your profile avatar in the upper right navigation bar to open the reader account settings modal.
3. Scroll to the Bottom: Scroll down to the Akses akun (Account Access) section at the bottom of the profile dialog.
4. Click the "Delete akun" Button: Click the red button marked with a trash icon labeled "Delete akun".
5. Confirm Permanent Deletion:

• A security confirmation prompt will appear asking you to verify your intention.
• Type the word DELETE (in all capital letters, without spaces) into the confirmation field.
• Click the "Hapus akun permanen" (Permanently Delete Account) button.
• The system will immediately process your deletion, terminate all active login sessions, and permanently purge your data from our servers.

Important Note: If you signed in using your Google Account (Google Sign-In), this action only deletes your Komikcast account and data. Your personal Google Account remains completely unaffected.
